Home Insurance Uk: a Saviour for Brits

One of the dreams fostered by people around the world is to own a house for themselves. A place where they can live peacefully and raise their families away from the hustle and bustle of outside world. However, owning a house is an expensive affair, for the price involved is immense. It is for this reason that people have to take loans if they want to fulfill their dreams of owning a house. However, if the house undergoes some damage then it becomes extremely difficult for people to manage their expenses, especially if they happen to belong to the middle class strata of society. Indeed, they would be the one who would feel the pinch of this sudden expense most. Particularly if they happen to be Brits for the cost of living is extremely high in UK. It is with the intention of helping all such people that home insurance UK was devised. It ensures that people are relieved from the trauma of arranging money for the repair of their homes as insurance companies do that for their clients.

Such a service is immensely useful for people as such a situation when one has to arrange money for the repair of their homes can very well throw their budget in a tizzy. Getting financial support at such a critical juncture would ensure that people can carry on with their lives as usual.

However, to gain from home insurance UK people would do well to take care of a few things. First of all they must ensure that the policy comes to life as soon as it is signed, then it should also be checked whether the house is priced fairly. People should also ensure that they never default on monthly premiums as well as the fact that they do not give any wrong information to the insurance company.

Efforts like these would go a long way in ensuring that people indeed, gain a perfect security cover for their dream possession by opting for home insurance UK.

What’s a good alternative to a Ford KA (UK)?

I’m 23, have been driving for 5 years in parents cars etc. Have moved away from home, have been without a car for a fairish while but am at the point where I really need one. However, whereas I can afford say, up to £1000-1200 on an actual car, the insurance rapes me (one place quoted me at £292.20 a month!). So my question is this:

What is a good first car (not new driver) to get, that is generally economic, and a reasonably low insurance (considering I’m under 25) bracket, other than a Ford KA?
Essentially, if I can avoid it, I don’t want to drive a student mobile :P Otherwise I’m fairly open minded

Like I said, in terms of the actual vehicle, my budget is preferably up to £1000, at a push £1200

Cheers!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO GET THAT INSURANCE QUOTE!?!? Im 18, male, and own a £5500 ford focus with a 1.8L petrol engine (so a fair bit faster than your Ka) – i have 1 years ncb which i gained as a named driver on my mums car (as it sounds like you have been doing) yet im paying £1200 a year. I suggest you shop around for your insurance quotes, what you have been quoted so far is extortionate, i always use moneysupermarket and for me, this time admiral was the cheapest.
What i mean is- the ford Ka is a good car, all you need to do is reduce your insurance costs.
