how is this for a starter house for 19 year old girl?
I’m 19 years old married for 5 months and we are looking to buy a home. I found a house built in 1976, it has 4 bedrooms and 1 bath and is 64,000 (281 bucks a month before insurance and interest which would bring it to around 450 a month). 1st bedroom is 12 x 11, 2nd bedroom is 11 x 10, 3rd bedroom is 18 x 11, and 4th bedroom is 18 x 11. the third and fourth bedrooms are on another floor, it is a story and a half home. the kitchen is 14 x 11 the living area is 22 x 11, the approximate lot is 111 x 66. its 912 square feet total and the ext. construction is aluminum and wood and it has baseboard heating. like i said its our first house no kids for awhile and we want to do this because its cheaper than an apartment and we wont be throwing money down the drain. i am 19 almost 20 he is 18 almost 19. is this a pretty decent first home?
The size is certainly fine, it is more the condition of the house and the neighborhood that would be of more concern to me. Have a professional or at least someone knowledgeable have a very good look at the house before you commit.
